Tonight’s episode of Star Plus shows Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai starts with a discussion between Dadi and Karthik’s mom. Karthik feels low and refused to eat and drink anything. Naira receives a message from the Dadi, in which she tells her that Karthik is very ill. Naira tells Mr. Kapoor that she cannot come with him and his team as Karthik is not well and she has to take care of him. Mr. Kapoor tells Naira that the meeting is very important for them and it’s time to think practically. But Naira refuses him and comes home. Dadi gets angry on Naira saying she should take care of her family instead of her doing her work.
In Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 17th May 2019 episode, Worried Naira asks Dadi about Karthik. Karthik’s mother asks Naira why she is here when she’d a flight with Mr. Kapoor. Naira tells her mother-in-law that she cannot leave Karthik like this. Naira says that Dadi tells her he is very ill. Naira asks to he mother-in-law where is Karthik. Karthik’s mom tells Naira that he went out for an important meeting. Naira looks at Dadi and has a word with her, saying why she did this. Dadi says that she didn’t do anything wrong as Karthik was really ill, but the meeting was important. Naira says after learning that Karthik is really ill I canceled my important meeting in Delhi and ignored my work. Naira says to Dadi that it wasn’t the right thing.
Naira tells Dadi that her message scared the hell out of her and she ignored all her work responsibilities and also upset Mr. Kapoor because of it. Dadi tells her that family responsibility is more important for her than her work responsibility. Dadi tells her to take care of her husband and family instead of competing against him. Naira asks Dadi why she thinks it’s wrong that she is working. Naira says that she doesn’t want to compete against her husband to prove anything. She goes on to say that she isn’t desperate for her job and that she can leave it at any time. She says to Dadi if Karthik doesn’t have any problem from her work than why she is creating problems?
