The latest episode of Star Plus show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai starts with Kartik cycling and thinking about Naira and what Dadi has told him about Vedika. He feels guilt-ridden as he gets haunted by Naira’s memories. Kairav sees a shooting of a TV show in which a man, who plays a role of an angel, gives his number and asks the audience to call him to solve their all kind of problems, Kairav notices his number, but the last digital was missing. Kairav asks strangers if he can make a call from their phone. One old uncle gives him his phone, and he dials Kartik’s numbers. Lost Kartik was about to jump off from a cliff when he receives a call from Kairav. Kartik attends the call and hears the voice of Kairav, calling him “Papa.”
In Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 17th June 2019 episode, Kartik gets surprised and asks Kairav, “Who are you?” Kairav says Angel uncle was right; my wish will come true if I call this number. He goes on to say that he has found his father. Just then a blast happens near Kartik. Kartik thinks for Kairav in his head; this kid was an angel for me as he would’ve died in the blast if he hadn’t received this call. Kairav asks on phone call, “Are you mad at me, father?” He asks, “Why are you not talking to me?” Kairav says that I am your son, dad. The little kid tells Kartik that the angel uncle gave him his number. He asks Kartik, “Do you not miss me?”
Kartik tells Kairav, he had a misunderstanding and that he has no son. Kairav asks, “Why do you not live with us, father?” He goes on to say that mom misses you a lot even though she doesn’t say it. Kairav asks, “Will you talk to her?” Kairav tells Kartik not to disconnect the call as he is bringing his mother to talk to him. Kairav handovers the cellphone the old uncle and put the call on hold. He comes to her mother and tells her to come with him. Kairav says to Tina (Naira) that his father is waiting for her to talk to him. Later, Kartik tries to call Kairav.
