The Japanese motorcycle manufacturing company, Yamaha just added a new maxi-scooter segment in India with the launching of the new Yamaha Aerox 155 maxi-scooter. Another model by the Yamaha company has taken its step into the country and the model has come with some exciting features. The maxi-scooter will be available at the Yamaha dealership in the last of this month.
According to the sources, the model will be available at the dealership at a price of Rs. 1,29,000 (ex-showroom, India). While the Yamaha scooter is available in two different colors – Racing Blue and Grey Vermilion. Along with this, the company also launched a standard color, a new Yamaha Aerox 155 will also be available in Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP Edition.

Yamaha Aerox 155 Maxi-Scooter Launched in India
The Chairman of Yamaha Motor India, Motofuni Shitara said,” The Yamaha Aerioc 155 is an important addition under the line-up and the model was created on the lines of Yamaha’s R DNA. The new model is going to show you the amazing experience in riding with high performance, comfort and convenience to the customers of India”. Later, he added that he is confident that the customers will accept the model and will create a new Maxi sports Scooter in the India.
Let’s talk about the feature and engine configuration of the model so, the Yamaha Aerox 155 is totally powered by a new 155cc liquid cooled engine including, 4-stroke, 4-valve motor equipped, SOHC and produces 15bhp @8,000rpm with the peak torque and 13.9Nm produces @6,500rpm that was mated to a CVT transmission.
Along with this, the company provided a new cylinder head and compact combustion chamber for the higher compression ratio, and efficiency of boosting. The model has fitted with the same lightweight foged piston that used in YZF-R15. It has a smart motor-generator system for idle engine starts, and the stop and starts system of the model boosts the fuel efficiency.

The model comes with a space capacity of 24.5-litres under the seat and the company also placed a 5.5-litre of fuel tank in the model. The model is developed and based on “Heart-Shaking Speedster” design concept and has LED headlights in the front, 12 compact LEDs that gives 3D experience.
The model has a 5.8-inch of LCD screen with Multi-information Display (MID) that shows, speedometer, VVA indicator, RPM, Y-Connect App Phone notification, parked location, fuel, revs dashboard, ranking, and notifications.
Many more information on display can be handled via the handlebar switch. Along with this, the company provided the fuel refill option externally of the model. Well, the model has been launched and it will come to the rival of TVS Ntorq and many other models.
