The Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi has unveiled its new smartphone named Mi MIX 2S. The device equipped with quite interesting features. While other smartphone makers have started offering iPhone X-like notch on display, Xiaomi has not incorporated this display structure in this device. Well, the users will get a vertical dual rear camera setup on the rear side. It also features Qi wireless charging.
Coming to its features and specifications, the Mi MIX 2S has a 5.99-inch full-HD+ display which offer 1080×2160 pixels of screen resolution. The display features the DCI-P3 colour gamut. Under the hood, it carries a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset and the Adreno 630 GPU. It will come with three different RAM and ROM setups, i.e., a 6GB RAM+ 64 GB ROM, a 6GB RAM+ 128 GB ROM, and an 8GB RAM+256 GB ROM.
Talking about its camera configuration, on the rear side it offers a 12MP+12MP dual camera setup which is placed vertically, like iPhone X. The flashlight is placed in between two lenses. The primary camera has a Sony IMX363 sensor and supports f/1.8 aperture. The secondary camera features a telephoto lens with f/2.4 aperture. The camera is powered by AI technology and detects around 206 scenes, produce super bokeh and can recognize business cards. The camera also has a dual-core PDAF feature. For now, the device has scored 101 points on DxOMark Mobile rankings for photos. On the front, the device offers a 5 MP camera which is powered by AI technology. Runs on MIUI 9, it is backed by a 3,400mAh battery.
The 6GB RAM and 64 GB ROM variant will be priced at CNY 3,299 (around Rs. 34,200), and the price of 6GB RAM with 128 GB ROM variant will be CNY 3,599 (around Rs. 37, 300. The 8GB RAM and 256 GB ROM variant will come with price tag of CNY 3,999 (around Rs. 41,400).
