Indian Olympic medalist Sushil Kumar is alight in a fresh controversy to beaten up a 24-years old wrestler and assaulted two wrestlers outside the Chhatrasal Stadium in New Delhi’s Model Town area on late night Tuesday. Two injured wrestlers immediately admitted to the Vinayak Hospital. The Delhi Police has taken the charges of this matter and they found one person who can take initiative against Sushil Kumar. The police have been informed at 1 am on Wednesday and they visited Vinayak Hospital to see injured wrestlers. The 24 years old wrestler has
died on the spot and he was the son of a Delhi Police Head Constable. He has identified as Sagar Kumar and the injured on identified as Sonu Mahal. Sagar Kumar was the son of Head Constable. The DCP of north-west Dr. Guriqbal Singh has stated that the investigation has been started immediately after the FIR registered n Wednesday morning. Sushil Kumar is a two-time Olympic winner who participated in a 66kg weight division and won the world title in 2010, and silver medal in London Olympics in 2012. He has won a bronze medal in the 2008 Beijing Olympics. He is the only male Indian individual
wrestler who has won two Olympics medals. He has honored with Rajeev Gandhi Khel Ratan Award. Then he started playing under 74kg weight division and won the gold medal. He has participated in World Wrestling Championship in 2012 and became the first Indian to win a world title in wrestling. He defeated the Alan Gogaev of Russia by 3-1 in the 66kg weight category. Sushil has won the gold medal in Commonwealth Games in 2010. He has defeated Heinrich Barnes under the 66kg category by 7-0. He has also won a gold medal under the 74kg weight category when he participated in the Commonwealth Games in 2018.
Sushil Kumar is currently accused of the incident that happened outside the Chhatrasal Stadium in New Delhi’s Model Town area late night Tuesday. The Delhi Police has started investigating from the batchmates of Sagar Kumar who is the son of the Delhi Police Constable. Sagar Kumar was staying as a paying guest in a house near to the stadium whish is owned by Sushil asd he asked three of them to vacat the place.
