On Wednesday, December 1, an 18-years-old teenage girl was found with a gunshot wound on her chest near Missouri Highway. Later, the girl was identified as an 18-years-old student Kiley Kennedy from Eureka High School. According to the sources, the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office and the Major Case Squad of Greater St Louis spoke about the incident and gave updates on December 3 through a press conference.

The official told that the 911 received a phone call at 07:05 AM on December 1 about the young girl who is laying on the ground in Highway 100 and Country Aire Drive.

When the officers reached the scene, they found Kiley Kennedy on the round. As per the reports of Lt. Tim Wilkinson from Major Squad, the death of Kennedy was being investigated as a homicide. Several investigators worked on this investigation and arrested two boys who is 16-years-old related to this case.

Many gun-related incidents which involve teenagers have been reported in the past few weeks. A 15-years-old boy was charged after he allegedly shot his mother, Aime Salinas-Alvarado (47). The lady was holding her grandchild and later, the accused dropped the kid at the house of Great-grandparent’s and ran away.

On the other side, a 15-years-old student of Oxford High School, Ethan Crumbley fatally shot three children, (Tate Myre,16), (Justin Shiling,17) (Madisyn Baldwin,17), and (Hana St. Julian,14). Along with this, the child also injured a few students and teachers of the school.

Kiley Kennedy was a resident of Farmington and the senior of the Rockwood School District. She was about to graduate from high school in 2002. As per the recent tweet of her brother, Logan said that Killey was like his daughter and a best friend. Kiley was a well-known dancer, skateboarder, and animal lover. She was a bright student of the school but unfortunately, the girl has gone from the world too soon.

The official revealed that two arrests have been made soo far in this case and they both have been charged with second-degree murder by the Franklin County Family Court. Along with this, police also found a 9mm pistol which is believed to be a murder weapon. As per the investigation, the suspects got into an argument with Kiley Kennedy over the narcotics and money after they shot her.

She was a loving member of the family and loved by her friends. The whole family is in deep shock after knowing the demise of their family member. Our prayers are with Kennedy’s family who is suffering from a deep shock. She will be always remembered by her family and friends.
