Who Was Khush Seerat Kaur?
A 17-year-old kush Seerat Kaur Sandu international-level shooter passed away. As per the report, police said, she was probably unhappy with her performance in the recently concluded 64th national shooting championship. They said they got a call from the control room about a girl likely having shot herself at her house Gali no 4 in Faridkot’s Harinder Nagar on Thursday in the early morning.
We reached there, we found the body she was 17 years old Khush Seerat Kaur Sandu. She shoots herself with her .22 pistol and died of a headshot wound. According to the family, she was upset with her performance in nationals that was held in Delhi earlier this week.
We have handed over the body to the family after the whole processor and have launched the investigation. There was no suicide note found. Inspector Harjinder Singh, SHO of Faridkot City police station. Police have begun inquest proceedings under section 174 of the Criminal procedure code (CRPC)
Khush Seerat Kaur Suicide Reason
Seerat was 17 year’s old girl her residence is Fridkort Harinder Nagar. Her parent’s name is Jaswinder Kaur Singh Sandhu and Navdeep Kaur Sandhu. She started her career as a swimmer and won medals at the national level. she graduates from shooting four Years ago at Faridkot.
She won 11 medals in individual and team events in the 25m pistol and 10m air Pistol events. she has won the gold medal in the 25m pistol junior women civilian category. she also finished a credible fifth in 25m pistol junior women final.
Sandhu helped the Punjab team. she claim seven medals in different categories in the team events. No doubt she was a very good shooter and she encourage other youngsters to opt for the sport. she was a very helpful person but unfortunately, we have to believe she is not with us now. unfortunate her to know her story is ended in such a tragic way, said Harbans Singh, former DSO, and her Neighbor and family.
