The Delaware County District Attorney’s Office said an 8-year-old girl named Fanta Bility was killed by a stray bullet fired by a police officer at a high school football game in Sharon Hill on August 27, 2021. The official statement has come in front of everyone on Thursday, 2nd September 2021 and they stated that there is a high probability that the girl was no more alive.

The incident that happened was actually unexpected as four people were injured in this firing including Fanta Bility. The cross-firing by police was actually unexpected and no one can expect that police officer did a too big mistake in which an 8 years old girl lost her life.

As per the sources, three Sharon Hill Police Officers were patrolling the Sharon Hill Sports Complex. There has been a match between Academy High School and Pennsbury High School was going on. Suddenly gunfire erupted on the 900 block of Coates Street and following this, the police officers also starts firing on the attackers.

One bullet came towards the officers but it did not harm the officers rather injured a civilian. When the civilian was injured with the gunshot, the police start cross-firing that may hit four people including Fanta Bility and her 12 years old sister.

When the gunshot hit Fanta, she got an injury on her neck and was immediately rushed to the children’s hospital of Philadelphia. The victim was immediately died when she reached the hospital. Not only this, but her sister also got injuries from the gunshot but she was treated and released at the same time.

8-Year-Old Girl Killed at High School Football Game

Fanta’s family did not disclose any other information related to their children. There is also no information provided on two other victims who were wounded by the gunshot by the police officers.

After the death of Fanta Bility, confirmed by her family, Delaware County District Attorney Jack Stollsteimer said that “The death of Fanta and the wounding of her sister and the other students are a heartbreaking tragedy for her family, her friends, and the entire Delaware County community”.

Her family members are very upset and completely broken after seeing Fanta in this painful situation. They are very hurt and need justice because Fanta is a very kind and loving girl who never hurt anyone in her life.
