She completed her schooling in Goa and graduated from Pune’s Fergusson College and went to Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi for pursuing her MPhil in International Studies. After being selected as an IFC officer, she worked at the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) as Under Secretary.
