A shooting incident at a Buffalo supermarket has taken a life of at least 10 people, reported while writing. According to the sources, an 18-years-old man who allegedly took the lives of 10 customers in the Buffalo supermarket has been taken into custody as soon as possible. He opened fire in the supermarket due to which, at least 10 people have killed. Now, the police is investigating the case and til now, they got to know about the shooter whose online username is reportedly “jimboboii” has been arrested and taken to the officials after live-streaming the whole incident on a well-known gaming platform, Twitch.
The company confirmed this on Saturday evening. Along with this, the authorities said that an 18-years-old suspect was motivated by hate. It was The Tops Friendly Market where the shooting incident took place and located in the heart of Buffalo’s Black community. The report says that 11 out of 13 people shot by the White suspect were black. John C. Garcia, Erie County Sheriff said in a news conference on Saturday, calling the shooting a “straight-up racially motivated hate crime from somebody outside of our community. This was a pure evil”.

With this, US Attorney General Merrick Garland released a statement,” as a hate crime and an act of racially-motivated violent extremism”. Now, the US Department of Justice is investigating the shooting case. Well, the suspect has been identified as Payton Gendron of Conkling, New York who has been charged with first-degree murder on Saturday. John J. Flynn said in a news release that Conklin was found about a three-and-a-half-hour drive from Buffalo. He pleaded not guilty.
When the suspect reached at the store around 02:30 PM, he was heavily armed, including wearing tactical gear, a helmet and a live streaming camera that was streaming the whole incident. He used the assault weapon in the attack. With this, Flynn told that he shot four people outside the store, three fatally. when he entered into the store, he exchanged his gun with an armed security guard who authorities said that he was a retired police officer from Buffalo. The security guard also lost his life due to his major injuries. Later, the suspect came into the store and shot eight more people, six of whom died.

Later, the world’s popular live streaming platform, Twitch confirmed on Saturday that the incident was live streaming during the attack. The video recording of the CCTV camera also confirmed that the suspect drove into the supermarket’s parking lot. Now, the families of the victims have been going through a difficult time after they lost their beloved family member in the attack.
