He has been conferred with the International Golden Image award and also for the role of best actor in a cameo at the 2011 ghana movie awards.
He went to the AME Zion school in Keta and then got admitted into Keta Senior High Technical School before he got his sixth certificate from Ebenezer Secondary school. His career began as a musician when he used to play instruments like trumpet and organ. He has also played with Victor Uwaifo who is also a musician from Nigeria and there was also a performance with the legendary Felix Bell. When he returned to Ghana he created the Dasebre band. He has also worked as a civil servant and a radio presenter at the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation.
