Alakh Pandey started his YouTube channel on 28 January 2014 as an online Physics teacher. At first, he started teaching Physics and Chemistry to students of class 10th, 11th, and 12th classes. And later, Pandey also included IIT, JEE Main, JEE Advanced, NEET, and Medical subjects to teach through his online classes.
His life journey has not been much easier. But despite all the odds, Alakh Pandey’s “Physics Wallah” startup has reached the value of one billion dollars, and the unique part is that it has become India’s 101st startup that crossed this much amount.
Alakh did his graduation with B.Tech from IIT Kanpur in 2015. Alakh Pandey is 22 years old, who is from Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. Alakh’s financial condition in his teens was not so good, but now just because of his talent, he earns Crores of Rupees.
Alakh is also a kind man, who decided to teach for free to the needy students, who can’t afford to go to the institute for their studies in IIT, JEE Main, JEE Advanced, NEET, and Medical subjects.
According to the sources, Alakh Pandey was offered 40 Crore per annum by another famous educating app, but Alakh had rejected the proposal. The reason for his rejection was that he wanted to teach his students for free.

Posting about his success of being a founder of a startup that has crossed crores of valuation Alakh Pandey took to his Instagram post, “1000 Rs k Board se 7500 Crore Rupee ki Organisation tak.” He also posted one of his pictures when he started teaching on YouTube, a screenshot of a website, which speaks about his success.

Speaking to the media, Alakh Pandey says that he didn’t ever want to lose any chance of multiplying his salary. And the feelings one gets by teaching from a group of curious students is something so great. Alakh also tells the media that he used to earn around Rs. 5,000 per month. He started his coaching classes in the evening when he was doing his 12th class. Pandey started taking tuitions when he was in 8th class. But later in 12th class he could not take tuition classes, cause his bicycle was stolen, and he could not afford a new cycle.
