After witness, the rising cases of black fungus white fungus, and yellow fungus, a new case of green fungus has detected in the country. A 39-years old COID-19 survivor is detected with green fungus infection in Madhya Pradesh’s Indore. Then he shifted to Mumbai by air for the treatment. The rapidly spreading Mucormycosis which is known as black fungus affected the people during the second wave of coronavirus. A 15-year-old boy was found to be infected with Mucormycosis. This was the first case of Mucormycosis in Ahmedabad. The boy was recovered with coronavirus and then got infected with Mucormycosis. In the new agency, ANI reported that he got discharged in three days.
After getting this news, many states registered teh new black fungus and white fungus cases. The risk of these infections was increasing in the country. Now the people are worried about the new case of green fungus. Green fungus is also known as “Aspergillosis”, and has the features of high fever and nose bleeding. The people with low and weak immune system will get affected by this infection. This is a kind of infection caused by Aspergillus which is a common pattern that lives indoor and outdoor. This is the first case of green fungus in India and they found out after fist patient was airlifted from Indore to Mumbai.
According to the doctor Dr. Ravi Dosi, head of the Department of Chest Disease, Sri Aurobindo Institute of Medical Sciences (SAIMS), where they tested a patient and they found Mucormycosis or black fungus. The common symptoms of black fungus are high fever, weakness of fatigue, weight loss, and nose bleeding. Their symptoms were found in the patient from Indore. A doctor from Mumbai hospital stated that the patient recovered from coronavirus but then he got a high fever and nose bleeding. He got sudden weight loss and felt fatigued. The doctors have always suggested the people to maintain hygiene, exercise daily
and eat healthy food which can help them to strengthen their immune system. People should try to clean the area where they live and always wear an N95 mask while going out. The social gathering should be avoided for some time. Avoid close contact with soil or dust. Carry hand sanitiser while going out and wash hands with soap before eating. Maintain good hygiene and consuming fresh food is the key to strengthening the immune system which can help people having fewer chances to get infected from green fungus.
