In the video, the professor rant against students and the clip goes viral all over social media. From his excessive use of an obscenity to emerging on Zoom with a helmet on to defend himself from coronavirus, Barry Mehler’s bizarre rant has garnered a lot of attention on social media.

As all of us know that Mehler is not the first, not the last professor to create a ruckus for their views. There are several videos and incidents that went viral in which people grabbed lots of attention from the audience.
According to reports, he was not satisfied that the university intended to return to individual teaching and vent his frustration on students ahead of the Spring 2022 semester. It is also clear that the 41-minute rant is not a random upload. Let us also tell you that the video has been reportedly posted a day before the semester was due to begin.
If you want to know more about Barry Mehler, he is a 74 years old tenured professor of history at Ferris State. Let us also tell you that he had been with the university’s humanities department for 30 years. Not only this, but he also serves as the director of the university’s Institute for the Study of Academic Racism.
So far, the university also deleted his bio from the official website of the university. It was written that Mehler is an alumnus of Yeshiva University (B.A.) and City College of New York (M.A.). It has been also appeared that he obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Illinois.
So far, the video of Mehler has gone viral all over social media and millions of people already watched it. At the starting of the video, he said “I don’t know whether you people have noticed, but it’s dangerous to breathe the air. We are all f—-d. I’m old enough to be your grandpa, and you people are vectors of disease to me.
So when I look at a classroom filled with 50 students, I see 50 selfish kids who don’t care whether grandpa lives or dies”. Now, his video is still available on Mehler’s channel that become the biggest reason behind the controversy.
