Finally, the most awaited part of the IPL 2021 Auction List announced to give a boost towards the engagement of fans in the upcoming season of IPL. On Thursday, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has released the list of 292 Cricketers who will be appearing in the ensuing 14th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). If we talk about the beginning of IPL then it will be held on 18th February 2021. The number of Indian players in the edition is 164 and 125 overseas (Total= 292) cricketers will be taking part in the IPL 2021. Also, three players from Allied nations have been included in the list of the players.

Originally, a total of 1114 players had initially registered for the auction, the final list was prepared based on the shortlisted cricketers submitted by eight franchises. Let us tell you that, Harbhajan Singh and Kedhar Jadav are the only players who were chosen the highest slab of Rs. 2 Crore as their base price. They are together with Glenn Maxwell and Steve Smith (Australia), Shakib Al Hasan (Bangladesh), Moin Ali, Sam Billings, Liam Plunkett, Jason Roy, and Mark Wood (England). Apart from this, 12 cricketers are in the auction with the base price of Rs. 1.5 Crore.

  6. RR has 16 players with 5 overseas players for the team spent Rs. 47.15 Crores and the available slots are 9 and overseas slots are 3.
  7. RCB has 14 players with 5 overseas players for the team spent Rs. 49.6 Crores in which the available slots are 11 and overseas slots are 3.
  8. SRH has 22 players of which 7 overseas players for the team spent a total amount of Rs. 74.25 Crores. The available slots are 3 and the overseas slot is 1.
