Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has announced about the development of Jewar Airport as Asia’s Biggest Airport. The development of the airport was also mentioned in the budget 2021-22. The state government also allocated Rs. 2,000 crore and after that, the number of runways increased to two to six.
