He was born in Long Beach California and has been moving a lot while he was growing up. He was heavily influenced by some great artists like Chief Keef and Soulja Boy. They were an inspiration to him and motivated him to start rapping. His music career started in 2014. It was due to being a part of the Daytona Boyz group. There were many rappers in the group such as Pimpyz and Santana Sage.
Tay was captured by the US marshals in 2017. It had been 3 months since his song The Race had been running. The manhunt that went on after that when he was arrested made the song jump even more in popularity. He was sentenced to 55 years in prison on the charge of murder.
