Hrithik Roshan’s an A-lister had a good start with his new film Super 30. After a break of almost 2 years, Hrithik returned to the big screen with Vikas Bhals’s Super 30. The film is based on the life of Patna-based mathematician Anand Kumar, who is a genius in maths and with his skills he is known in Bihar. Anand teaches underprivileged kids for free and helps them crack the IIT entrance exam. The movie has got positive reactions. Super 30 opened to a good response on Friday. The film witnessed average footfalls at the theatres on the morning and afternoon shows, but the occupancy increased towards the evening shows.
The films seem to have impressed B-town celebrities and serval film critics. Some of the stars lauded Hrithik performance others called the film inspiring. Vikas Bhal directorial also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Mrunal Chaudhary, Aditya Srivastava, Nandish Singh, and Amit Sadh. The film earned Rs 11 crore on its opening day. Girish Johar, a trade analyst, said that “It is a word of mouth movie and I peg its day one box office collection at Rs 12 crore, and it might go further to Rs 15-17 crore on its second day. The chances of it going downwards are bleak after the initial reactions.” Girish also added that the family-friendly content of the film would add to its box office figures ” Super 30 is a film for family viewing. So, it is expected to attract the family audience. Though next week, it will have competition from The Lion King”, he stated.
Gujrat chief minister Vijay Rupani also watched the film and shared his reaction on Twitter. He wrote, “Super 30’ is a film that showcases the life of struggle with all its reality. @teacheranand is an epitome of a simple teacher inspiring and becoming a ray of hope for the needy.@iHrithik has done admirable role to capture the essence of Anand’s character. Best wishes”.

The film is released on 1993 theatres and 3100 screens in pan India. The estimated budget of Super 30 is 115 crore. Although Kabir Singh is still running in theatres and might snatch away some share of the audience, Super 30 has all the elements to attract massive viewers over the weekend.
