Another saddest news is hitting the internet that environmentalist Sunderlal Bahuguna died on Friday because of COVID-19. The personality at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in Rishikesh. He breathed last at 12:05 pm in AIIMS on Friday. AIIMS Director Ravikant officially announced his death and everyone get the confirmed information about his saddest demise. He was survived by his wife Vimla. Apart from this, his two sons and a daughter also available with him at his last time. He was 94 years old environmentalist. Now, his family is currently going on with a feeling of very deep sorrow and mourning over his demise.
One of the most famous and prominent environmentalists Sunderlal Bahuguna very well-known for his pioneering role in the Chipko. He was undergoing treatment for COVID-19 at the hospital for over a week. He was admitted to the hospital on 8th May 2021 after he tested positive for COVID-19. The condition of Bahaguna gone critical since last night and he was not able to overcome the disease even after the treatment in the hospital. His oxygen level also dropping drastically that become the main cause of his critical situation.
He was on CPAP therapy in the ICU but he was not able to stand again in his own legs. He was 94 years old and also very famous for his outstanding work for the country. Many reputed and prominent personalities give lots of blessings and soulful tribute to the personality. Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat condoled his death and describing a big loss not just for Uttarakhand and India but the entire world. His family members are also very upset and suffering from a very big loss of the entire family.

The void created by his death in the field of environmental protection can never be filled”.
