The well-known TV actress Sudha Chandran’s father Mr. KD Chandran died on Sunday due to a heart attack at age of 86. Sudha Chandran has confirmed that her father was suffering from dementia. He was admitted to the Criti Care Hospital on 12th May where he died at 10 am on Sunday. KD Chandran worked on Indian Television and films. She is a professional Bharatnatyam dancer. She survived a road accident near Tiruchirapalli, Tamil Nadu when she was coming to Madras with her parents where she majorly injured her leg and doctors suggested amputating her leg. She is well known for her character in Kaahin Kisii Roz serial
and Yamini in Naagin 1,2 and 3 seasons. She has worked in a remake of Sath Nibhana Saathiya Tamil. She has won National Film Award and Special Jury Award for the Telugu film Mayuri which is based on her own life. She has won the 33rd National Film Award in 1985. Her father KD Chandran worked in the film Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke Junoon Pukar, Main Madhuri Dixit Banna Chahti Hoon, China Gate, Koi.. Mil Gya, and Jab Pyar Kisi Se Hota Hai. He has also appeared in several TV shows. She is currently working with Dandal TV serials Crime alert. Sudha shared pictures of celebrating her father’s birthday.
She has posted them on her Instagram account ad written, “Happy Birthday to you Appa…Thank you, for helping me to become the one I am today. I am so proud to be your daughter.
