The covid vaccination developed by Russia’s Gamaleya Institute will be available in India. The Drugs Controller General Of India has a permit for the use of Russia’s Sputnik V jab. The benefit of this vaccine will be 91.6 more than the current vaccination providing in India. Currently, Indian citizens are instructed to take 2 doses of vaccination with a gap of 15-20 days. They can get vaccinated at the nearest Govt hospital in their region. Russia has vaccinated more than 20,000 people of age more than 18 years with the Sputnik vaccination in 3 trials. A report has been issued which clarifies the effect of this dose on people of age 60 years. They have noted that not a single case of Covid-19 has been registered in 21 days after the first dose has given to
people of age 20 years. The vaccine effectiveness against the medium COVID-19 resulted as 100%. This vaccine will be effective for people of the age group 18 to 10 years. There have not been any side effects noticed. The vaccination has already started providing in India and 13,000 volunteers got vaccination and this process will be completed by the end of June 2021. The study has shown in Russia that not a single case of COVID-19 has registered after they have provided vaccines to the people. They have studied the effect of Vaccacine on people of age 18 years to 60 years.
They have confirmed to give at least 2 doses with a gap of 15 days in the second dose to see the effects. The vaccine has been contained in two forms, one is liquid which requires the -18 degree celsius temperature. Another one will be available in the powdered form which has to be stored in 2-8 degree celsius temperature. It can be stored in a regular refrigerator as this is the normal temperature to store the vaccine. The price of Sputnik V will be Rs.250/- per dose in India. It will be sold at this price if people purchase it from any private facilities and Government hospitals will provide it for free.
Like any other vaccine of COVID-19 proving by India used two doses, the Sputnik jab also has two different varieties for the first and second dose. The first dose will be of (rAd26) and the second will be (rAD5). The benefit of giving two doses with a gap of 25 days will boost the immune system.
