Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha took her Twitter on Friday and set the records straight. An even organizer accused Sonakshi of receiving payment for an event the actress didn’t attend. Sonakshi opened up about the cheating allegations made against her by the event organizer. A complaint was filed against Sonakshi and four other people for accepting the payment of Rs 24 lakh for a stage performance that didn’t happen as she didn’t attend the event. The case was registered against Sonakshi back in February. The event was scheduled for September 2018.
She tweeted, “An event organizer who couldn’t live up to his commitments obviously thinks he can make a fast buck by maligning my crystal clear image in the press. There is full cooperation with the authorities from my end for the investigation to be conducted.” She added, “Would request the media not to fan these bizarre claims of an unscrupulous man.”

The Uttar Pradesh police arrived at Sonakshi’s residence in Mumbai to reach out to the actress. But the actress wasn’t at home at that time. The “Dabangg” girl wrote in her post that she is cooperating with the authorities in their investigation. The event organizer registered the case against Sonakshi under sections 402 and 406, cheating and criminal breach of trust respectively.
Sonakshi is making headlines but not about her upcoming movie but the legal trouble she gets into. The Moradabad Police visited the actress’ Mumbai residence on Thursday. The artist was supposed to give a stage performance at the event in Delhi, but she ended up missing the event. It led one of the organizers filed a police complaint against her. Juhu Police confirmed the news by sharing that the Moradabad police had asked for their support in the investigation of the case. The police can visit the actress again as she wasn’t available at home when they visited her home on Thursday.
