Sindhubaadh is the latest Tamil movie starring Vijay Sethupathi and Anjali in the lead roles. The Kollywood action thriller flick is written and directed by S. U. Arun Kumar. The movie is produced by S. N. Rajarajan and Shan Sutharsan under the production banner of Vansan Movies and K Productions. The film has hit the theatres yesterday on 27th June 2019, Thursday. Despite embroiled in controversies, the film was released yesterday. Prasad Devineni and Shobhu Yarlagadda of Arka Media Works filed a complaint against the production house of the film, K Production as Rajarajan production house didn’t clear the payment after S. S. Rajamouli’s directorial Baahubali 2: The Conclusion generated great profit at the box office. K. Production had the distribution rights of Prabhas and Rana Daggubati starrer epic action film.
Vijay Sethupathi starrer was scheduled to release on last Friday, 21 June, but the Madras High Court ordered the producers to not release Sindhubaadh and Enai Noki Paayum Thota till the pending payment are cleared. There are several filmmakers who aren’t happy with the release of Sindhubaadh as it will affect the box office business of their films. It is a busy Friday as Dharma Prabhu, Jiivi and House Owner hit the theatres today, these new flicks are now competing with each other, including Vijay’s Sindhubaadh, on the ticket window.

Vijay starre Sindhubaadh received mixed reviews from film critics. Apart from Vijay Sethupathi and Anjali, the film also features Vivek Prasanna, Linga and Surya Vijay Sethupathi.
