Sikkim Education Department has disclosed the new date for the Sikkim TET exam 2021. The new date will be conducted in the state on 27th March 2021. Candidates can visit the official website i.e sikkimhrdd.org. to fill the online application. The Sikkim Education Department has instructed that the candidate have to obtain the Sikkim TET passing marks to get the Sikkim Eligibility Certificate. There will be a test where the candidate should have a good knowledge of subject Mathematics, Science, social studies and have to know about the issue related to child development. The exam will be conducted in two shifts. There will be two papers held in one day.
The first paper will be held in the morning shift and the second paper will be held in the evening shift. The STET Level 1 paper for Primary teachers will be conducted in the morning shift from 9:30 am to 12 noon and STET Level 2 paper will be held from 2 pm to 4:30 pm. The online application required the details of education qualifications such as 10th class marks percentage and graduation marks. Those candidates who have passed the 12th Class or have a degree of BA/B.Ed is eligible to appear for this exam. The candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree from any recognized college or university.
The exam will be of total 150 marks and there will not be negative marking. They have to obtain the marks to qualify for the exam. If the given details by the candidate in the application form found counterfeit then the examination form will be rejected. The new admit card will be available on the official website. Candidates are instructed to visit the website and login with their registration number to download the admit card. Download the admit card and print it to carry to the examination center. Take the 3 copies of Admit Card and any Government ID proof Adhar Card, PAN Card, Passport, and College ID.
Earlier, the examination was scheduled to be held on 11th April 2020 but due to COVID-19, the Sikkim Educational Department postponed it. As per the Government instructions, the candidate has to wear a face mask and carry a 20ml sanitiser bottle at the examination center.
