The police said that the witnesses had even blocked the car of Sierra at the crossing of highways 42 and 49. Police had even tried to talk to the driver however she was not cooperating at all and they could not speak with her. Irresponsible behavior on top of reckless driving is what we can call the actions of the lady named Sierra. Youngsters these days have been involved in most of the rash driving cases and there has been a rise in the cases of rash driving as well.


In order to stop the driver from escaping, they had to put up stop sticks under the tires of her vehicle. As per the statement from the police, the driver was trying to back down and she ran into a vehicle instead as she was accelerating then she hit the vehicle of the Byron Police and made an escape to Highway 49. She is also alleged in hitting two witnesses as well apart from the vehicle. She was then blocked by the police officers on the highway and then was taken into custody.

The 24-year-old woman has been identified as Sierra Hibbert and she belongs to the town of Warner Robbins. She is charged with reckless driving and hitting three police vehicles, a witness, and an officer. Her mugshot is not yet made available. The good news is that no one was hurt seriously in the incident and the Byron police even praised the people who were a big help when the traffic was halted.

The investigation in charge was the office of the Peach County Sheriff and they helped in Sierra’s prosecution as well. Sheriff Terry has said that the woman has been charged with six counts of aggravated assault and the charges can be enhanced as she had endangered a kid in the incident.
