The all-new galaxy quantum 2 slash the Galaxy A82 which is an upper mid-range phone which is a successor to the galaxy quantum which was released in South Korea last year and was basically a rebranded a71 5G and the galaxy a80 released two years back with that crazy pop-up camera with dual rotation. Let’s break down the Galaxy quantum 2 and the Galaxy a82 are basically the same. The difference is that quantum 2 has a quantum security chip so it is a bit secure and is going to be exclusive to South Korea. The handset design is inspired by the Galaxy a52 and Galaxy a72. The camera module kind of blends into the back and has the same color as the phone and it honestly looks pretty good.
The plastic material has used in manufacturing and it has a matte finish. The triple camera set up at back with an led flash and it also has ip67 water and dust resistance and the size of it is the same as the Galaxy S21. The triple camera setup with a 64-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilization and 12 Megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, a 12-megapixel telephoto camera, and an 8-megapixel depth camera. It has the same display of 6.7 inch which is quite similar to the S20 pus but the resolution is a 1080p AMOLED display with 120 hearts refresh rate and also slightly curved at the edges which gives it a sleek look.
There is a small hole punch in the middle housing a settled camera and there is also an on-display optional fingerprint scanner. The smartphone will be available in 6GB RAM+128GB internal storage which is expandable up to 1TB and it also supports the 5G and powered by snapdragon 855 plus which is a two-year-old flagship processor used in the Galaxy Zflip and still perform like a champ. The smartphone has a 4500mAh battery which supports a 25w type-C charger.
The handset will be available in the South Korean market from 13th April. The makers have launched the handset in an online event where they revealed some of the features of the handset. The handset is currently unavailable in India but the launching date will be announced soon. The expected price of the handset will be 69,990/-.
