On Tuesday, the 11th of June 2019, Samsung launched the updated version of its M series. The new version is set to go on sale in India from 18th of June. The price for the Samsung M40 is set to be Rs 19,990. It can be said that Samsung M40 will stand in tough competition with other smartphones from Realme, Xiaomi, Nokia series and others under this range.
About its specifications, it has octa-core Snapdragon 675 SoC and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 SoC with 6GB of RAM. The phone runs an Android Pie out-of-the-box with One UI on top. It has a 6.3-inch full-HD+ Infinity-O Display featuring a hole-punch cutout for the front camera. There is no detail about the panel used on the display of the phone. The device has Screen Sound technology to forego the earpiece, instead of using vibrations on the screen to deliver audio. The Galaxy M40 features a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 32-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.7 lens, a 5-megapixel depth sensor, and 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens camera. It has a 16-megapixel front camera.
Samsung M40 is available in two color options- Midnight Blue and Seawater Blue gradient. The device is going on sale from 18th June at 12 noon IST on Amazon.in and the Samsung Online Shop. Apart from an affordable price, there are various launch offers as well-
