Samsung did not do any significant changes in the design of Galaxy S9. The only difference you will get is the place of fingerprint sensor which is now present below the lens of a camera. Samsung is now one of the first smartphones to launch its model with the latest Qualcomm processor. The Galaxy S9 series have Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor. This variant of Samsung is only available at US market whereas in all other markets you will get the Exynos 9810 processor which is another latest chipset, while Galaxy S8 runs with Snapdragon 835 and Exynos 8895 processors.
Galaxy S9+ has storage with the support of microSD got up to 400GB. Galaxy S9 has 4GB RAM with 64GB and 256GB storage. The Galaxy S8 has 4GB RAM and 64GB storage with microSD support up to 256GB. Galaxy S9+ has 6GB RAM with 64GB and 256GB storage options.
Camera Quality
Galaxy S9+ gets a dual –camera with 12-megapixel and 13-megapixel sensors. Galaxy S9 got a 12-megapixel rear camera. Both the Galaxy series got an 8-megapixel camera for selfies. The camera of Galaxy S8 is same as that of S9. The only difference is the cameras on Galaxy S9, and S9+ has a dual-temperature feature with f/1.5 and f/2.4 as per conditions of light. It is also laced with a slo-mo function which can record the video at 960 frames per seconds.
The operating system, Battery, and Connectivity
Both the Galaxy S8 and S9 series have same battery of about 3,000 mAh and 3,500mAh. Galaxy S9 and S9+ run on latest OS Android 8.0 Oreo whereas galaxy S8 series runs on Android 7.0 Nougat. The connectivity of both the series remain same with Galaxy S9 comes with Gigabit LTE for 5G connection.
Price of Phone
Galaxy S9 starts with RS 57,900 for 4GB RAM with 64GB storage, while 256GB storage has a rate at RS 65,900.
Galaxy S9+ with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage got a price tag of RS 64,900, and that of 256GB storage is RS 72.000.
