Salman Khan’s latest action drama Bollywood flick has turned as the biggest Bollywood release of this year. Bharat is generating great business at the box office despite receiving mix reviews and ratings from film critics. Ali Abbas Zafar’s directorial movie has become the biggest Bollywood opener of the year. The film hit the theatres on the auspicious occasion of Eid al-Fitr on 5th June 2019, Wednesday. The film is running the theatres successfully and attracting more and more viewers into the theatres. The movie ended its very first weekend on a high note and took complete advantage of the festival of Eid on Wednesday. After completing a first weekend run on a such a good note, the film is now facing a drop in box office collection in weekdays.

Bharat starring Salman and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles, the action drama film is also featuring Tabu, Sunil Grover, Disha Patani and Jackie Shroff in the prominent roles. The film has crossed the mark of Rs 250 crore with its worldwide box office collection. The film has grossed Rs 167.60 crore within 7 days of its release. The film crossed the mark of Rs 150 crore within six days only. Bharat has raked Rs 8.30 crore on Tuesday. The leading trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the latest collection figures of the movie. He tweeted, “#Bharat is steady on Day 7… Should cross ₹ 175 cr today [Day 8]… Wed 42.30 cr, Thu 31 cr, Fri 22.20 cr, Sat 26.70 cr, Sun 27.90 cr, Mon 9.20 cr, Tue 8.30 cr. Total: ₹ 167.60 cr. One of the producers of the film, Atul Agnihotri, shared on Twitter that Bharat has raked over Rs 250 crore from the worldwide box office. He tweeted, “‘Bharat’ takes the world by Storm by recording a Gross Worldwide Box-Office Collection of 250 Crores and counting…#BharatCrosses250Crores.”

In his recent tweet, Salman thanked the audience for giving much love and support to his latest movie, Bharat. He tweeted, “Thank you so much for all the love and support you have shown towards ‘Bharat.'”

For those who aren’t aware, Salman and Katrina’s latest movie Bharat is an official remake of Korean drama named ‘An Ode To My Father.’ The film is set on the backdrop of post-independence history.
