Bharat is the latest Indian-Hindi language action drama film written and directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. “Bharat” is based on the South Korean movie “Ode to my Father.” The movie traces India’s post-independence history from the perspective of a common man and follows his life from the age of 18 to 70 years. Principal photography for Bharat began in April 2018. Shooting for the movie took place in Abu Dhabi, Spain, Malta, Punjab, and Delhi. Earlier it was Priyanka Chopra who was opted for the role, but because of her engagement with Nick Jonas, she was opted out of the role after the film shooting was commenced.

Every year Salman Khan has a perfect Eidi for his fans, and same happened this year. The most anticipated film Bharat hit the screen on 5 June 2019. The movie did phenomenal on its opening day. It earned 30-35 crore on its opening day. The initial box office numbers make Bharat one of the biggest releases of this year. The action drama movie was released on 4700 screens in India and over 1300 screens in overseas. Bharat has been released in as many as 43 countries worldwide.

The movie was directed and written by Ali Abbas Zafar and Varun V.Sharma (dialogue) and produced by Atul Agnihotri, Alvira Khan Agnihotri, Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, and Nikhil Namit. The budget for this movie was 100 crore.
