James Redford passed away at the age of 58. He was a son of famous actor Robert Redford and a filmmaker and activist. James Redford was born in New York in 1962 and complete his school at Dalton School. After completing school he was complete his graduation from the University of Colorado with a B.A. in literature. Later completing his M.A. he was diagnosed with Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis. It is a rare auto-immune disease that affects the liver. He was diagnosed in 1993 and after that, he regularly fights with the disease. He received two liver transplants and he survives this near-fatal disease. Last Friday, he was died due to bile-duct cancer in his liver.
James Redford also found the James Redford Institute for Transplant Awareness. He also produced “The Kindness of Strangers” which shows sacrifice made by organ donor families. The film was premiered at the Telluride International film festival and HBO in 1999. At the starting of the new decade, James Redford was active as a screenwriter and director. In 2009, James produced a film with his wife Kyle Redford named The Big Picture: Rethinking Dyslexia. The film was premiered on HBO and James comes in highlight as Debut film director.
His wife Kyle Redford shared some pictures with him and inform everyone about his death. She shared the post on Twitter and said “We’re heartbroken”. After that many known persons and fans comment on the post and pray for him. James Redford and his Oscar-winning father co-founded the Redford Center and appreciate environment filmmaking. All the fans are shocked and pray for him. His family members mourning during this difficult time. James Redford’s wife also said that “He lived a beautiful, impactful life and was loved by many. He will be deeply missed. As his wife of 32. I’m most grateful for the two spectacular children we raised together. I don’t know what we would have done them over the past 2 years.” James Redford battled with liver cancer for more than 30 years and last Friday he was passed away.
