National Badminton, PV Sindhu is very close to getting the second Olympic medal for India after beating the World No. 5 Japan’s badminton player Akane Yamaguchi in the sets of two hard-fought. She is one of the dominating players of badminton. The match with Akane Yamaguchi was held at Musashino Forest Plaza in Tokyo.

The player has reached into the Semi-Final match of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and is too close to get the second medal for the country, India. The leading player won the Olympic Silver on debut games in Rio after losing from Carolina Marin who was being taken back from Tokyo 202 games due to her injury.
PV Sindhu needed 56 minutes to beat the World No. 5 player Akane Yamaguchi and she won in her first round by 21-13 and in the second gameplay, she won by 22-20 after battling with the player. While Sindhu had to save her two points in the game as she decided to bring her match in straight games.
Now, the player will have to face some other participator in her semi-final match. Sindhu will face either Thailand’s World No. 6 players, Ratchanok Intanon, or Taiwan’s World No. 1 player Tai Tzu Ying in the Semi-Final match.
After getting a defeat, the campaign of Japan’s badminton singles have reached to its end in Tokyo games because Nozomo Okuhara lasts the quarter-final match on the first day, and on the other side, the World No. 1 Kento Momota got stunned in the stages of the single event of men.
In the second round of PV Sindu and Akane Yamaguchi, she was not looking confused but between the match, it seems that she is missing the chances and not playing well as she got tired in the first round but when she held up her speed in took some points continuously
The doubts were cleared by all that she was not desperate to get some more points. PV knew that Yamaguchi was struggling to get some more points and at the time, Sindhu took few seconds to get the strategy and got the impressive win after getting the victory in the second round.
She made some shots impressive and amazing that was unexpected while we saw some mistake between the game but we can call that PV Sindhu made it and reached India into the Semi-Final and made her country proud. She was trusted totally on her game not even now giving a chance to Yamaguchi to get out from the match.
