The Subordinate Service Selection Board Punjab has announced the recruitment for various posts on the official website on 9th April. The interested candidates can visit the official website i.e sssb.punjab.gov.in to apply for the recruitment. The online application will activate from 12th April to 10th May 2021. There is a total of 160 posts available in different departments. Steps to apply for this recruitment :
- Visit the official website i.e sssb.punjab.gov.in
- Click on the option”Current News” and then the Online application form will display on the screen
- Read the online application carefully before filling in the details
- Fill in the required details such as candidate’s Name, Father’s Name, Date of Birth, a colored passport size photograph, and a scanned copy of candidate’s signature
- Pay the examination fee and submit the form
- Download the pdf and take a print out for the future reference
The age of the candidate should be 18 years to 37 for this post. The age relaxation will be applicable to SC/ST/PH/OVC and Ex-Servicemen. The candidate should have passed their graduation Law from any recognized institute or college. They must have an ‘O’ level certificate in a computer information course of Department of Electronics Accreditation of Computer Course of Government of India. They should have qualified in the competitive exam which has been conducted by Punjab and the English typing speed should be more than 30 words in a minute. This typing speed will be specified by Punjab Government in a
certain time period and other conditions will be applied as per Punjab Civil Services. The candidates must have 120 hours of course certificate where they used a personal computer in office productivity applications and Desktop PublishingAplications from a recognized Institute. The examination fee for the General candidates will be Rs. 1000/-, the SC/BC/EWS candidates will pay Rs. 250/-, The Ex-servicemen and PWD will pay Rs. 200/-. The payment mode will be online for the examination. The selection will be based on the two rounds. The first round will be an online examination where candidate must have obtained 40% marks.
If they qualify for the online examination, they will be called for a personal interview. After qualifying for the interview, the candidates have to carry their original certificates for document verification. The Admit Card will be available 10 days prior to the examination. The candidates are instructed to bring a Government id proof such as Aadhar Card, Driving License, and PAN Card along with the Admit Card.
