The Punjab School Education Board has announced the 5th class result today on the official website of the Punjab Board i.e pseb.ac.in. This announcement has virtually stated by the chairman of the Punjab Board, Mr. Yograj Sharma. All the links related to the result will be activated from today. The exam is PSEB was conducted on 16th March but, due to the second wave of COVID-19, the state government announced the pandemic and canceled the board exams of 5th, 8th,10th, and 12th class. The student’s rate of passing the 5th class exam is 3,13,712 which stands the higher percentage of 99.76%. A total of 98,736 students passed the examination with a 90 or more than 90% score on the 5th class boards.
A total of 1,35,622 students passed the 5th class examination with an 80-90% score. A total of 58,762 students scored 70-80% in 5th class board exams. The students who obtained 60-70% in 5th class board exams are 60,671 and 7,060 students failed this year as they scored less than 33%. The students can check their results on the official website and they can send an SMS on 56767650 where they need to type PB05 <roll number>. The result will be sent to the registered mobile number. PSEB has also canceled the exams of the 12th class and they haven’t disclosed the date to conduct the examination. The Punjab Board secretary Mr. Krishanan Kumar has also stated that the board
exams of the 12th class will be on hold for major subjects. If the students are facing any issue in checking their results then they can also visit the examresults.net website. In 2020, the students obtained a 100% result in PSEB 5th Result as the exams were not conducted due to the pandemic. The PBSE decided to promote the students the board exams of the 5th class were held on 16th March and most of the exams are conducted following the COVID-19 safety protocols. Over 3.14 lakh students appeared for the examination and less than 20 students were found COVID-19 positive and they didn’t appear for the exams.
A total of 17,311 schools in Punjab Board has got 100% result. The PSEB announced the result for five subjects Hindi, English, Punjabi, Maths, and Environment Education subjects. The Punjab Board class 8th class and 10th class result were declared on the basis of internal assessment. The five exams of the class were held before the pandemic announced.
