SVAMITVA‘ scheme can become the Game Changer in the Rural Areas.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi launches the (SVAMITVA) Scheme for village people who need some kind of loans and other things but did not able to fulfill the needs of the loan provider. This was the major issue which is an urban city person never Understand. As per PM Modi’s statement, the rural area people will get the Property Card for where they currently live so, they will able to use this as their financial asset in the grant for any loan type other things. Now they are able to get loans on their property.

According to the PMO, the beneficiaries are from 763 villages including 346 from Uttar Pradesh, 221 from Haryana, 100 from Maharashtra, 44 from Madhya Pradesh, 50 from Uttarakhand, and two from Karnataka.

What is the meaning of Property Card as per scheme ‘SVAMITVA’?

The aim to make this scheme is to Digitalise all the land records in rural areas. This will help to empower the rural part of India. This scheme empowers rural people to use their land as the financial asset in the documentation of any legal formality regarding loans and other stuff. Which definitely gives authority to the people who don’t have legal rights of their own property.

“Beneficiaries from all states except Maharashtra will receive physical copies of the property cards within one day but since the western state has a system of recovering the nominal cost of these cards, it will take a month’s time there”
