The news is that he is no more and died on Monday and the announcement was confirmed by his son Travis on Instagram. As all of us know that the fighter is very popular and millions of people know him because of his outstanding fighting skills and talent in wrestling. The fighter was 71 years old but the cause of death has not been revealed yet. If we talk about some more details then was suffering from several health issues.
Mr. Wonderful Passes Away
The wrestler suffering from numerous issues in recent years and he was living in an assisted living facility while battling dementia. So, maybe it is the reason behind his death. If we talk about his career then he started at Tampa University as a running back. Later, he was drafted in the 12th round by the New Orleans Saints in 1973.
In his wrestling career, he never played with the Saints but he launched his career in wrestling three years later. After that, he got much respect and popularity from all over the world.
In 1983, Orndorff joined WWE and the most interesting part of his starting was his first fight. He started an incredible rivalry with Former heavyweight Champion Hulk Hogan. Not only this, but he also competed in his first WrestleMania in 1985 with “Rowdy” Roddy Piper in a match against Hogan and Mr. T.
