As the movie has been successfully released all over India with the order of Supreme Court despite many problems and controversies created by people of Rajasthan, Karni Sena. Supreme Court ordered to cut many scenes and the Director Sanjay Leela Bhansali agreed to all of that. He is doing his fourth movie with the Duo of Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh and all movies were hit and were part of controversies. Running time of the movie is about 2 hrs and 45 minutes. Bajirao Mastani, RamLeela, and Padmaavat, all of them had social groups involved and that is why got offended.

Directly coming to the reviews, the movie is adorable and epic. Deepika Padukone has shown great talent and made the audience feel connected with the role of Rani Padmavati. Ranveer Singh again did magic with his acting skills and determination to come into the full character of Alauddin Khilji who was seriously so powerful and dominating and he rules half India and captured many territories. He was so dreadful and Ranveer seriously did stupendous work. The movie is really one of the finest movies directed in Bollywood. Dialogue delivery of Deepika and Ranveer blew off many hearts and made new fans.
The storyline has been based on Poem written by Muhammad Juyasi ‘Padmaavat’. Songs of the movie except GHOOMAR did not become popular much among the Audience. The story revolves around the obsession of Alauddin Khilji about every unique thing and he comes to know about the exceptional beauty of Rani Padmavati and he wishes to meet her but Ratan Singh denies and keep sword on his neck and warns him, then he captures the Mewar with bad tactics. Times of India gave it 4 ratings as the movie has been perfectly executed. It released on 24 January and previews collected 4 crores. On its first day it managed to collect 14 crores in total. It collected less as expected as in north Indian states still the conditions are not good and people are not going to see the movie. South Indian states are giving a good response to the movie and Pamaavat received a standing ovation in Kolkata.
On 26 January, the movie collected 31 crores due to a public holiday. On day 4 it collected 18 crores. Worldwide Collection is also running good. In the UK 1 crore has been collected.
