The first episode shows, that Albedo wakes up thinking about the future of Sorcerer Kingdom and Ainz. Just after a while, Albedo starts to feel not to worry about the kingdom and Ainz, as she has immense trust in the leadership and decision of Ainz. Whereas Ainz did not sleep the entire night thinking about his actions for the Sorcerer Kingdom, and as he turns around he sees one of his maids standing beside his bed, who was waiting for him to leave the bed so she could make the bed. Ainz asks the maid to select a dress for him and make him ready for the day.

After Ainz gets ready to go to the respected seat of the king of Sorcerer Kingdom, Albedo and elder Liches go to meet him, and they both give Ainz a compliment that he looks good, but he felt quite heavy in his dress. Ainz starts to review the documents he had to check for a few days, but Ainz stops to review them and starts to think that an ordinary man is not a deserving person to be the king of Sorcerer Kingdom. Ainz starts to think about his current position and his ability as he saw the documents that hardly make sense to him.
As the episode goes further, Lady Mare and Aura visit to meet the king, and as he sees them he gets so happy. Ainz makes Lady Mare and Aura sit on his lap, seeing both the ladies sit on the lap of Ainz; Albedo angrily asks Ainz to make her sit on his lap, but he denies it by saying that she is an adult, but later he makes her sit next to him for a few whiles. Lady Mare and Aura start to discuss the issues related to economics. The discussion stretches to E-Rantel city which was having hikes in its economy, and Ainz agrees with Albedo to go to the city to solve the problem.
