The Odisha Public Service Commission has announced the recruitment for the teachers who are graduates in the science stream in group B of the secondary schools. There are a total of 139 vacancies for this post. The online application will be filled from 24th March 2021. Interested candidates can visit the official website to apply for this examination. The candidate who should have passed the graduation and post-graduation in the science stream can apply for this examination. The selection in this post will be based on the written test and personal interview. If candidates qualify for the written test then they will be called for a personal interview. There will not be negative marking in the exam. The exam will contain 150 marks.
Eligibility Criteria
The candidate should have a graduation degree in the science stream. They must have a post-graduation degree in science. The minimum age to apply for this exam is 21 years to 32 years. There will be age relaxation for the reserved category candidates. They should have passed their graduation and post-graduation from a recognized college or university. The candidate should have integrated the M.Sc course from the regional college of education NCERT in the subject with a minimum of 50% marks. The candidate should have a degree in B.Ed from the National Council for teacher education. The candidate will be selected on the basis of written examination.
The written exam will be held at Cuttack, Balasore, Berhampur, Sambalpur, and Bhubneshwar. These options will be given to candidates so they can choose according to their convenience. The exam pattern has also updated on the website. The examination contains the questions from General Knowledge, General English, Computer aptitude, Pedagogy, and other subjects. There will not be negative marking in the exam. The candidate has to qualify for the examination so they can get selected for the interview. The online application will start from 24th March and the last date will be 23rd April to fill the online application form.
