There have been reports that the upcoming Oneplus 6 will be a cracker of a phone. It will have lots of best-in-class features. Of course, it will be a high-end phone, but it will worth every penny. Although the official launch date of the phone has not yet been announced, OnePlus CEO Pete Lau had earlier confirmed that OnePlus 6 would be launched in Q2. That means, OnePlus 6 will be launched before June 30, 2018. But before, rumored of the phone’s specification, design and features have started making headlines in the tech arena. Usually, OnePlus phones are considered as flagship-killer, and the upcoming Oneplus 6 is expected to carry on this trend.
The leaked screenshots of the Oneplus 6 design suggest that the phone will pack a taller 19:9 display unlike the OnePlus 5T‘s 18:9 display. The display screen size is expected to be 6.28-inch bundled with as 1080×2280 resolutions.
The Oneplus 6 is expected to sport an iPhone X-like notch at the top of the display, and this notch will house the front-camera as well as other sensors. Images leaked on Chinese portal ITHome show that the Oneplus 6 will have glass design at the back, vertical dual rear cameras, and a big fingerprint sensor positioned just below the rear camera.
Coming to the specifications, OnePlus 6 is expected to be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC, which is the most powerful processor of Qualcomm. Going by the trends, the OnePlus 6 will also come in two RAM variants having different internal storage. One will be a 6GB RAM, 64GB internal storage variant and another will be an 8GB RAM, 256 GB inbuilt storage variant. The phone will have Android 8.1 Oreo with the latest version of OzygenOS running on top of it. Rumors are there that, OnePlus is planning to power the new flagship phone with a bigger battery. OnePlus 6 is expected to be priced around Rs 38, 000 for the 8GB RAM/256GB storage variant.
