New Delhi: Here a proud moment for all of us because Central Govt. announces the news about New Parliament. The total budget to build this new parliament is approx Rs 971 Crores. According to the official news today the building of the new parliament has been started and today is the breaking ceremony for the new parliament. However, the actual construction cannot start immediately today and it will take a few days to gear up the activity to build this new parliament. So far the petition for construction is still pending in Supreme Court. The new parliament building is the key piece of the ₹ 20,000-crore Central Vista project, which aims to build and refurbish the government buildings on part of the 3 km Rajpath that stretches from the presidential palace Rashtrapati Bhavan to the iconic war memorial India Gate.

The official ceremony will begin at 12:55 pm which is known as Bhoomi pooja. it includes the ritual of laying a foundation stone and this ritual will take place at 1 pm. It will be an important activity that is necessary to avoid the risk of uncertainties. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the nation at 2.15 pm today. The New Parliament is decided to build in 64,500 sq meters and the cost estimated is Rs 971 crore.

If we talk about the completion of this New Parliament so as per the expectations and rumors it will be completed by the 75th Independence day in August 2022. However, it will depend on the work efficiency and smoothness in further activities related to this construction of the New Parliament.

The most important and everyone definitely wants to know what is the seating capacity of this new parliament. So, here we want to explore the seating capacity of it. According to the available details, the building will come with 888 members in the Lok Sabha Chamber with an option to increase to 1,224 Members during Joint Sessions. The Rajya Sabha chamber will have a seating capacity for 384 members. The capacity is extended due to concerns in the future.

The Central Vista project will be aligned along Rajpath – the 3 km road lined with parks on both sides that stretches from the Rashtrapati Bhavan to India Gate. So, it will be amazing to watch this new parliament at this brilliant location in the Central heart of Delhi.

Till now supreme court did not clear the petition and Last week Supreme court notify the government to don’t go further procedures of construction aggressively. Regarding this issue, the Supreme Court said “You can lay the foundation stone, you can carry on paperwork but no construction or demolition, no cutting down any trees,”
