Rules:-
1 – On the first day of Navratri, take a vow and fast for 9 days. For this, take water in your hand and keep rice, flowers, a betel nut, and a coin in it. If possible, call a Brahmin for this. If this is not possible, then take resolve in your mind to fulfill your wish and leave that water at the feet of the mother.
2 – These days, take a bath early in the fast and take a bath and clean the house. Sprinkle cow urine and Ganges water all over the house. After that worship Goddess. In the puja, bathe the mother with freshwater and milk. Then worship with kumkum, sandalwood, akshat, flowers, and other fragrant things and perform aarti by offering sweets. Put a lamp of ghee or oil on the very first day of Navratri. Keep in mind that those lamps do not extinguish for nine days.
3 – Perform fasting only after worshiping Goddess in fasting. That is, you can take the milk and any fruit after worshiping Goddess in the morning. Salt should not be eaten. After that, keep meditating on your mind throughout the day. In the evening, worship and worship Mother Goddess again. After this, you can have fruit and fruit once more. If you cannot, then you can have food once after the evening worship.
4 – After worshiping Goddess, worship 1 girl every day and give her Dakshina after having food.
5 – Do not take tamasic food during Navratri. That is, garlic, onion, non-vegetarian, cold, and false food should not be eaten during these 9 days.

Because they are unable to follow the rules.
