Mrs World International 2022: Recently, the latest edition of the Mrs. World International Beauty Pageant was hosted in Mumbai. This sort of beauty pageant has never been seen before as it was hosted for married women. It was organized by Glamour Gurgaon which is an organization founded by Barkha Nangia. According to the latest updates, Yasmin Mistry and Somya Banerjee were crowned Mrs. World International for the year 2022 by Barkha Nangia. They were crowned by the organizer, Barkha Nangia on Sunday, June 5, 2022. They both belong to Maharashtra and were the winners of their respective groups.
The registrations for the pageant started this February and it saw a very grand finale on June 5 in Mumbai. Shie Lobo was the director and choreographer for the pageant. The auditions were hosted in Delhi NCR, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Lucknow, Jaipur, Dubai, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, London, New York, and Melbourne. The auditions were completed in May as the finalists from each group moved on. Mrs World International 2022
Mrs World International 2022: Winner Name & Runner Up
While the first place was shared by Yasmin and Somya, the first and second runner-ups were Sakshi Nowlakha, Maheleqa Mohseni and Deepika KA, Ishu Hirawat respectively. All the participants received valuable feedback from the experts such as Madhurima Tuli, Deepika Singh Goyal, Akash Agarwal, Pooja Desai, and Megha Sarpal, as they were on the jury for the contest. There were several rounds similar to many renowned contests. They were scored on many attributes such as their confidence, their presence on the stage, walking on a ramp, etc.
They were given 5 days in which they went through grooming sessions and prepared for the competition with the title of Mrs.World International on the line.

Barkha’s organization, Glamour Gurgaon has also organized many noted contests such as Mrs. Delhi NCR, Mrs. India, Ms. India Curvy-The Plus Size Show, and Mrs. Punjab – Pride of Nation.
Barkha said that she conceptualized and introduced this pageant so that the married women in India as well as in the world can have opportunities that they may not have thought of otherwise or were not able to take a step forward. She said that she believed that nothing can stop women if only they start believing in themselves. They deserve greatness in any aspect that they can think of. Age is just a number and what counts is the efforts and approach toward your goals, as she said.

She also said that many of the participating finalists and winners will go on to be recognized for some brilliant work in modeling, acting, theatre, ramp shows, commercial advertisements, web series, brand endorsements, music videos, and much more. She congratulated all the winners, runner-ups and the participants to come forward and take a step for themselves and not their families. They were all great and wish that other married women can get inspired by them and come forward in even bigger numbers and revolutionize the way society works.
We hope that this is a step in the right direction and can bring a change even if it is small.
