Recently, an incident took place at the famous Mata Vaishno Devi shrine that break many hearts of the residents of India. A video has taken lots of rounds on the internet in which it is clearly appearing that a stampede took place among thousands of people who visit the temple.

Thousands of people had gone to the temple to see the mother, but the sudden stampede has scared everyone. Also, it is being told in the news that some people have also lost their lives. Although it is not yet possible to know how many people died in this stampede.

Let us tell you that thousands of devotees barricaded the temple premises, while many struggled to enter the temple to worship the deity. Some devotees also recorded a video to show that how people are eager to visit the temple but the officials are not letting them go because of the stampede.

Talking about the people who lost their lives then there were almost 12 people who had died and 15 others were injured in the stampede that occurred in the Mata Vaishno Devi Temple.

As per the reports, it has been reported that there was an altercation that took place among young boys, and then there was a stampede situation. Now, it was actually very heartbreaking for the people who lost their family members and friends in the stampede.

On Saturday, Jammu and Kashmir Director General of Police Dilbag Singh come to the fore and said about the complete situation that happened at the Mata Vaishno Devi shrine. The stampede that took place at the temple was actually very deadly in which many people lost their lives and it was very heart-wrenching as they all are going to visit Mata Vaishno Devi Temple.

Talking about the source, it said “One group going in the opposite direction wanted to take a u-turn to re-enter the shrine, and that led to the scuffle, which further resulted in a stampede”. Not only this, but the Prime Minister Office (PMO) announced an ex gratia grant for the victims “An ex gratia of Rs 2 lakh each from PMNRF would be given to the next of kin of those who lost their lives due to the stampede at Mata Vaishno Devi Bhawan.

The injured would be given Rs 50,000: PM @narendramodi”. Now, our deepest condolences to the families who lost their family members and friends in the stampede that occurred at the Vaishno Devi Shrine.
