A leader and Mizoram MLA of Zoram People’s Movement (ZPM), Andrew H Thangliana passed away at the age of 43. According to the official sources, Thanliana took his last breathe at a hospital in Aizawl on Tuesday, August 17, 2021. Ebenezar Medical Centre Managing director, Dr Vanlalsiama told that he suffered from several complications including heart attack and liver failure and that’s become a cause of his death.
As per the reports, he was admitted to the hospital on August 5 and later, he was being shifted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and after someday, his condition became worse on August 12.
Andrew H Thangliana was survived by his wife and three children and further, his condition deteriorated for the last day, August 16 after he had a heart attack and because of this, his blood pressure kept going down while he was on a ventilator support, told Vanlalsiama.
While doctors revealed that he died around 6:30 AM in hospital. Along with this, the family of Thangliana told that he was being admitted to the Civil Hospital in Aizawl in the last month on July 21, when a lump in his liver was found in a CT-Scan.
After suffering the pain, later, he was shifted to the Ebenezer Medical Centre where he was under the care of the doctors who better knew about his health condition for the past few days. He was a kind person in his state and known for his work and contribution to the work in the state.
Since his death news breaks out, many state politicians paying tribute to him and some of the people are sharing his picture on social media. Chief Minister Of Mizoram, Zoramthanga also took the support of Twitter and condolence on the death of MLA Andrew H Thangliana.
Andrew H Thangliana was born in the month of October 1977 and since his childhood, he had been suffering from a poor health condition, said family members. He took his schooling education from Kodaikanal in Tamil Nadu and later, took his graduation degree of Bachelor of Arts (BA) from Ramjas College which comes under Delhi University (DU).
His father, Sameul H Thangliana died in 1996 when he was just 19-years-old and in 2014, his mother, C Lalmingliani took her last breathe. He was suffering from minor illnesses since his childhood. He joined the political career in 2017 and become a part of the Zoram Nationalist Party (ZNP) but later, his party formed an alliance with another party and changed the party’s name to Zoram People’s Movement (ZMP).
After becoming a part of the party, he defeated his opponent with the 204 votes margin who was Sailothanga Sailo of Mirzo National Front (MNF). Now, the great leader has left some memories behind and his funeral will be held at his residence in the locality of Aizawl Chawlhhmun. He will be remembered by his loved one. May God Bless His Soul.
