Big relief news is coming for the maker of the Mirzapur web series. The Allahabad High court currently stopped the arrest of producers of the Mirzapur web series, Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani on Friday. The Mirzapur web series was released its first season in November 2018 and the second season was released in October 2020. A few days ago, SC sends a notice to the makers of the Mirzapur web series. SC claimed that the makers of the Mirzapur portrayed an indecent and bad image of the Mirzapur district in Eastern Uttar Pradesh.

Allahabad High Court compromising with the makers of the Mirzapur. Allahabad High Court Justice Manoj Kumar Gupta and Justice Subhash Chand accept the application moved by the makers of the Mirzapur to stop their arrest. However, the Allahabad High Court asked them to not leave the country till the case is pending and cooperate in the case investigation. The state government and accuser is also directed to file their replies till the next hearing in the first week of March 2020.
The complaint was registered at Mirzapur’s Kotwali Dehat Police Station against the makers of the Mirzapur web series, Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sindhwani Under Sections 295A, 504, 505, and 34 of IPC and Section 67-A IT Act. The makers of the Mirzapur accused of hurting the religious, social, and regional sentiments of the citizens. The complaint against the makers of the Mirzapur was registered by Sujeet Kumar Singh with an advocate Binay Kumar Das.
The advocate of the makers of Mirzapur argued and denies all the charges which are made on them. He says that the web series was a fictional series. Under section 295A and 504, no case could be made against the makers of the Mirzapur web series. The counsel said that there is no intention of the makers to insult any religious and hurting the social feelings of any particular cast citizens.
