According to the news, the accident occurred at around 8:35 on Tuesday morning, The police were informed of a report of a road crash involving a Mini and a Seat Ibiza on the A6091 at the B6539 junction in Melrose. The 57-year-old female driver of the mini was taken by air ambulance to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh where she is being treated for her injuries.
