World’s biggest superhero-animation entertainment production company, Marvel Studios just captured massive attention just an hour ago after making an official announcement regarding the launching of its new Marvel shows on the online streaming platform. Marvel Studios announced that the company is going to expand its slate of animation series for Disney Plus by launching three new shows including ‘Spider-Man: Freshman Year’, ‘X-Men ’97’, and ‘Marvel Zombies’.
After Disney purchased the 20th Century Fox in 2019, and the X-Men movie franchise was on its last with the launching of “Dark Phoenix” and “The New Mutants”. Many fans expected that Marvel Studios will be back with X-Men and re-join the characters back into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Marvel Studios Announced Three New Animated Series
Now, releasing the new superhero series has become a surprise for all the Marvel fans because the hype of the superheroes was mainly re-developed by the Marvel Studios. There are lots of superheroes in the cinematic movies including Thor, Captain America, Iron Man, Spider-Man, Ant-Man, and many more.
Well, the company is reached to the team of powerful mutant superheroes, and the company is going back to its own origin story: ‘X-Men’ animated series that ran for five seasons on the Fox network from 1992 to 1997.
The popular show that debuted in primetime before reaching to Saturday mornings, it was an amazing sensation that was widely created for launching 20th Century Fox to create the live-action ‘X-Men’ movie, when the modern era of superhero cinema was launched when it was premiered in 2000.
Series X-Men ’97’
There were lots of producers for the movies but one of the most amazing producers on the film was a current Marvel Studios chief named Kevin Feige. Maybe, without the success of the ‘X-Men’ animated series, the Marvel Studios wouldn’t exist now. The writer of the Netflix animated series of “The Witcher”, Beau DeMayo will serve as a head writer for ‘X-Men ’97’. Now, the show is all set to premiere in 2023 and fans are eagerly waiting to watch this.
Now, the other series ‘Spider-Man: Freshman Year’ will open up Marvel’s deeper history with an aesthetic approach. This show will follow the life of Peter Parker on his journey from a simple boy becoming Spider-Man within the MCU, and we can expect that Peter Parker is the origin of the story.
