Mahesh Babu’s latest film Maharshi is spreading its magic on the silver screen. The film was released yesterday on 9th May 2019, Thursday. The Telugu action drama flick received mix reviews from film critics along with average rating. Vamsi Paidipally’s directorial movie received a great opening at the box office, the film is now expected to pick up the momentum during its very first weekend. The story of the movie revolves around the challenges faced by farmers and thinking of society.
Maharshi is starring Mahesh Babu, Pooja Hegde, Allari Naresh, and Jagapathi Babu. According to the recent media reports, the Telugu movie has opened up on a good note as it earned Rs 6.38 crore on its opening day from Nizam box office alone. According to the latest media reports, Maharshi has grossed Rs 4.40 crore from Guntur box office. The makers of the film booked increased the prices of a movie ticket and held special shows of the film in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Their efforts are generating good profit as the film attracting more and more viewers. The Tollywood action drama movie earned $511k (Rs 3.57 crore) from US box office from the premiere shows of the film.
The film is ruling the domestic box office by generating good business in Telugu speaking regionals. Apart from Telugu states box office, the film is also doing well in Tamil Nadu. Mahesh Babu’s film has raked Rs 23 lakh from the Chennai box office on its very first day, which is the highest opening for Mahesh Babu’s career. The Telugu movie revolves around a business tycoon and Rishi. He returns India in order to restore his friendship. Rishi becomes the hero of needy people and support farmers.
