Mahesh Babu’s latest Tollywood biggie ‘Maharshi’ has hit the theatres now. Fans were eagerly waiting for the Telugu action-drama movie to release. The makers of the film have managed to create a good buzz of the south Indian movie among the audience. Vamsi Paidipally’s directorial movie is produced by Dil Raju, C. Ashwini Dutt, Prasad V. Potluri under the production banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations, Vyjayanthi Movies, and PVP Cinema.
Maharshi starring superstar Mahesh Babu in the lead role, Allari Naresh and Pooja Hegde are also sharing the screen with him. The Tollywood movie is also featuring Jagapathi Babu, Prakash Raj and Meenakshi Dixit in Devi Sri Prasad composed the music of the film. The film has released today as it was scheduled to release on May 9, 2019, Thursday. The film receiving positive reviews from the film critics along with impressive ratings. Talking about the first-weekend box office collection of Maharshi, the film is supposed to touch the mark of Rs 50 crore from AP/TS box office. Chiranjeevi starrer ‘Khaidi No. 150’ is currently holding a title of highest first weekend grosser in AP/TS regions. In order to become the highest first day grosser, Mahesh’s latest movie has to beat Pawan Kalyan’s Agnaathavaasi on its release day. Agnaathavaasi earned around Rs 39.12 crore on its first day.
On the other hand, Bharat Ane Nenu is the highest opening weekend grosser with the collection of Rs 59.80 crore within its very first weekend from the worldwide box office. There are high expectations associated with Mahesh’s film Maharshi. Mahesh starrer is all set to break collection record set by Agnaathvaasi that raked $1.5 million on its opening day.
